Good Morning!! (A lttle rant about why I am tired..)

Good morning everyone!! I have my coffee in my hand and a probably really tired look where my smile should be..  First cup of coffee hasn't taken effect and I have just started the second.

I absolutely love grocery shopping at night after my daughter goes to bed when my husband is home.  (The only problem, initially, is that we love snuggles before bedtime, and I'm not really sure if it's physically possible to snuggle a child with the intent on settling them down, without becoming pretty settled yourself.)  But I didn't get home until after 11pm.  Then we had to bring the groceries in, and then we had to put them away..  At this point, it's midnight.

Then, naturally, after bringing home groceries, my husband and I are hungry.  Never fails... every time.  Like "hey, we have food now, we absolutely must eat some now."  So after all of the putting away of the groceries, I make us some sandwiches.  Then wash the dishes.  After that, I come to my computer, wanting to check in here, and realized it was almost 1 am!!!!  And you know that of course I have to spend a little bit of time checking in here!!

And no matter what time I go to bed.. no matter what time SHE goes to bed for that matter, my daughter WILL be up by 6:30 am begging me for breakfast.

I have to go continue to wake up a little bit before posting much more, but on the plus side, the next thing that I do, is going to be to choose the WINNER of the Crazy Dog T-short giveaway!!

Stay tuned!!

  1. About settling in child without you truly settling: from my experience, it's like they sense you are going to bolt as soon as they fall asleep lol. So it takes longer to get them to sleep! :D

  2. oh no, I don't actually snuggle her to sleep, or even really close to sleep, just a transitional "we're not playing anymore" for a bit and then it's off to bed. I realize that I probably wasn't clear.
