I've written about this here, but it really hasn't gotten any attention.
Part of what I love about being The Mom Show, is interacting with you guys. When I am able to help you all find something, or give you advice on something, it makes me feel really good at the end of the day. I was reading some of The Mom Show's reviews on Alexa, (you can read them, and leave one yourself if you want by going here.) and one of them said that my blog was like "talking to an old friend", and I am beyond ecstatic that I can be that for some of you. I really want to broaden and amplify that feel for my site. It was really my initial idea for starting this site.
This is why, I really want to start an advice page. I will post (anonymously unless told otherwise) some of the questions that you ask me (I will always ask you first) and my answers. If you ever have anything that you'd like a neutral, third party perspective on, I would love it if you messaged me either on Facebook, or email me. I will always be honest, and definitely research anything that I don't know the answer to. Before I can start an advice page, I need people in need of advice!
I'm not claiming to be any sort of "know it all", but, I'm sure that Abby (from all of those "Dear Abby" newspaper columns) know it all either. But it's been weighing on my heart to use this site as a way to help others, and this is a good way to start.
One thing that I need to ask anyone to remember is that this is a family friendly site, and therefore, I can only post family friendly questions. If you have questions that are not family friendly, and/or too personal or identifying for me to post, feel free to ask away, and I will do my best to answer you via email.
Thank you all for helping to make this website what it is. I really want the opportunity to do a little something to give back to you!
