Would you like to be featured in a book?

Have you ever thought about what it might be like to have your thoughts, opinions and more featured in a book?  I am here to give you the opportunity to do so!

Andrew Cort, the author of six books, is preparing a new series on What People Really Think and he'd like to hear from you! All it entails is a ten or fifteen minute telephone interview - he'll record it and transcribe it (or you can write and email your responses if you prefer). It's just four or five questions about your life, your dreams, and what you would do if you could make the world a better place. Each book will consist of 40 - 50 stories. It will all be anonymous (unless you'd like to have your name in print, that's up to you of course).

Three of the books will be called:

WHAT DO STAY-AT-HOME MOMS REALLY THINK? And What Would They Do to Fix the World?

WHAT DO WORKING MOMS REALLY THINK? And What Would They Do to Fix the World?

WHAT DO SINGLE MOMS REALLY THINK? And What Would They Do to Fix the World?

If you fit into any of these categories, Andrew would love to hear from you at Andrew@AndrewCort.com! Contact him right away and set up a time to be interviewed!  I have also discussed the possibility of taking answers for him.  We agreed, that you can have the choice to email him for a phone number to call at the address above, or to get the questions to answer by email, or you can email me and I will send you the questions, you can send me the answers and I will forward them to him.

As it's stated above, you can choose to have your answers anonymous, or you can have your name posted.  That is completely your question, but this author (who has written a book that I am anxious to read and review for you guys soon!) is trying to accurately portray moms in his books.  If there's something that you want to share with the world, this is a great opportunity for you to do so!  I am actually about to answer his questions as well.

Here are the questions that he will be asking:

(1) Tell me about your current living situation: family, home, friends, work, etc., and any particular thoughts or feelings about your life today that really get to the heart of your life.

(2) What dreams do you have? Where do you hope to see yourself and your family in five years? Twenty years?
(3) What, if anything, would you like to change in the men in your life and/or in the world?
(4) If you had all the necessary power and influence, what would you do to change the world for the better? Or, what would you advise people to do to fix the world
(5) Which category should I include you in? (if they overlap, pick the one you most identify with):
     ___ Stay at Home Mom
     ___ Working Mom
     ___ Single Mom

See, these questions really give us, as moms, the opportunity to share what we think, and how we feel about... well, everything! I know that I am personally looking forward to the opportunity.  He has been kind and respectful in his emails. Hopefully, you know, that I wouldn't promote something like this to you all if I didn't feel that he could be trusted to be respectful with you and the information that you choose to share.

If you would like, you can email him, at Andrew@AndrewCort.com.  You can either just email him the answers to your questions (make sure you let him know which book you would be quoted in), or set up a time for you to call him.  He will record and transcribe phone conversations, editing out spacing and "ummmm"s that may be in there (these are thought provoking questions afterall).  If you want to go that route, his number is 413-243-8950.

If you would prefer, I have also agreed to take answers for him, and send them to him.  My email address is april.wheelis@gmail.com.  I would be more than happy to share your answers with him as well.

I truly hope that lots of you will take him up on this offer to share yourselves with him for the sake of literature.  If you do, make sure you let me know so I can look for you in his books (Because I'm already looking forward to reading them!)!
