Family Movie Night -- The Love Bug

I was chosen by Mommy Bear Media to be one of their premier bloggers.

This means that I will be able to bring you all monthly movie reviews! Even more importantly, it means that once a month, I will be getting a family friendly movie to add to our movie collection.  Since I am going to be reviewing them, I obviously need to watch them and want to do so with my family.  This means at least once a month I will be having a family movie night.

This month, I got The Love Bug, which is one of the Herbie movies. (My husband has seen them all, this was a first for me, but he says this is the best one.)  We got some snacks and all snuggled up on the couch in our pajamas and watched the movie together.  My daughter, who just turned four is old enough where she generally does fairly well understanding the simple concepts of movies and stories, so she is really getting to the point where she's fun to watch movies with!

Like I said, we received The Love Bug.  I know this is by no means a new movie, but I haven't seen it, and my husband has always kind of given me a hard time for not having seen any of these movies.  I have always heard that they were cute, so I figured that we'd all enjoy watching them together.

In case you haven't seen it, it's a movie about a car that basically has a mind of it's own.  A man purchases the car, and discovers the hidden treasures within, and plenty of good things happen.  There's a lot of conflict. Like most movies, this one has it's bad guy.  If you have seen it, you know what I'm talking about, but if you haven't I certainly don't want to give anything away.  I just want to highly suggest that you watch it!  Make your own family movie night!!
